Women, 60 and 22 arrested for smuggling marijuana into prison

According to a report by Ghonetv.com the women had concealed what is believed to be “wee” and some mobile phones and chargers in 47 balls of soap known as 'Azumaa' blows or 'don’t touch me'.

According to Ghonetv.com, the women concealed the illegal substance and some mobile phones and chargers in 47 balls of soap known as 'Azumaa blows' or 'don’t touch me'.

Grace Kusi, 60 and 22-year-old Mary Nyanka tried to smuggle the marijuana inside the prisons but were arrested by the officers after a thorough search.

Upon interrogation, the women admitted carrying the marijuana and revealed the substances were for their two relatives who are serving  jail-terms. Ali Omar Fulani and Razak Abubakar are serving 15 and 63 years respectively.

The suspects have been handed over to the Elmina Police Command for further investigation.
