A source from StarTimes released that almost all Fox’s famous TV series would successively be available on StarTimes ON from 22nd March. And according to the source, a Fox+ Series zone would particularly be created.

Besides The Walking Dead and Empire, 24, X-files, Outcast, Bones, American Dad, Modern Family, Ghosted, Chance, Star and Family Guy will be first served in March to users of StarTimes ON.

More TV series, including Legion, Prison Break, Homeland, Atlanta, American Horror Story, Wayward Pines, Da Vinci's Demons, Futurama, The Americans, Sleepy Hollow, Bob's Burger, Scream Queens, Rosewood, Baskets, 24 Legacy, Son of Zorn and The Gifted will join StarTimes ON later, in April, May and June.

“We are very happy to bring Fox+ Series to our users and I’m sure that fans of American television series will fully enjoy themselves with StarTimes ON,” said Ariel Wang, StarTimes ON Operation Director.

She said that StarTimes ON would continue to introduce excellent international and African local contents to the online video streaming platform with saying: “No doubt, people can expect more!”

As Africa’s leading digital TV operator, StarTimes provides Terrestrial TV (DTT) and Satellite TV (DTH) services to millions of customers in the market. Last year, StarTimes pioneered its online video streaming service with having forged a new brand, StarTimes ON, for the online business. Till now, StarTimes ON has accumulated over 12 million users in African market.

A Christian service had earlier taken place at the Nmai Djorn Head Office of Zoomlion which was graced by Former President J. J. Rawlings, the Majority and Minority Leaders, Hon. Osei-Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Hon. Haruna Idrisu, ministers and deputy ministers, traditional leaders and the clergy.

The Chief Iman prayed for God’s continuous blessing of the Jospong Group and urged Dr. Agyepong to continue to have faith in Allah for HIS mercies and lauded the owner of the Zoomlion Ghana Limited for joining them in prayers.

Dr. Sharabutu expressed appreciation for Zoomlion’s recent four days clean up exercise at Fadama and its environs as part of the thanksgiving exercise. He said Jospong’s ability to develop business opportunities that results in the creation of several jobs and his resolve against discrimination to any religious and tribal orientations in employing the youth of Ghana is a trade mark he should continue to preserve for generations to benefit.

Dr. Jospeh Siaw Agyepong on his part expressed gratitude to the Chief Iman for his unrelenting prayers for him the business conglomerate and perpetual counsel he provides to him at any point in time. He said “your entrenched position to stand by us in prayers during good and bad times is indicative of the fact that you are a father for all and we at the Jospong Group will continue to collaborate with the Islamic Community in the country to enmsure that the country benefits from our endeavours”.

On his part, the Minister of State in the Office of the Vice President Hon. Boniface Abubakari Sadique commended Dr. Agyepong for his enormous contribution to the development of Ghana in particular and Africa as a whole. He indicated that Agyepong has companies running in Serra Leone, Liberia, Angola, Togo and other African countries thereby raising the image of Ghana abroad.

According to reports, Wizkid will be signing to Sony Music Entertainment and RCA Records today, Tuesday, 13 September 2016.

The pop star has earlier been reported to have signed a global deal, which according to information reaching Pulse, is the biggest ever deal signed by an African. The deal dwarfs that of Davido with Sony Music.

"There's something big coming up for Wizkid, and it happened while he was in America. The deal will be the biggest ever signed by an African, and signifies progress for the music business on the continent," the source says.

The source also confirms that plans are in motion to announce this deal spectacularly, with many outlets reporting that Sony Music is involved.

The singer who runs his own label imprint Star Boy has been making steady waves with his numerous collaborations with international artistes such as Drake, Sean Paul, Swiss Beatz, Chris Brown and more.

There are also industry rumours that Universal Music has been working on a Wizkid mega deal, and just might have their man now.

The 'Ojuelegba' crooner has also been working on dropping an album «Sounds From The Other Side"  a first under the Star Boy  imprint, where he has signed Ghanaian acts - Mr Eazi, Efya and R2Bees. The album is expected to house the many international collaborations he has been working on.

When the new deal is announced, Wizkid will join a growing contingent of African stars who are collaborating with international music companies to grow their music, influence, and achieve penetration into other markets.

The singer who topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts with his Drake 'One Dance' collaboration recently headlined a concert - One Africa Music Fest, held at the Barclays Center in New York. U.S.A, where he held it down performing together with ace producer Swiss Beatz.

Pulse has reached out to a member of Wizkid's team for confirmation, who declined official request for comment, saying «hold on".

The singer will be putting pen to paper on a deal worth a ‘mindblowing’ amount, bigger than any African has ever signed with the music giants.
