22 indicted judges demand to see Anas' identity in court

Lead counsel for the indicted judges  remains resolute on his demand for Anas to unveil his identity, he makes a legal argument for his claim.
 
 

The 22 indicted judges in the Anas Judicial  Bribery Scandal are demanding that the investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas  bares his face during cross examination in the suit filed against him.

The lawyers  of the judges  have revealed that they will petition the court to instruct him (Anas ) to take off his facial veil in court.

Only few people know what Anas looks like in person, as he constantly disguises himself  dressed in a long robe and a facial veil.

Before the first premiere of the ace journalist's video on the Judicial Bribery Scandal many Ghanaians took to social media to show solidarity and support for him by mimicking his disguise. Some used Kitchen skillets in place of his iconic hat and a sponge in place of his facial mask.

The ace journalist has had to employ his method  of disguise for security and safety reasons. He says it is the price he pays for exposing the corruption and rot of some powerful people in the Ghanaian society.

However, the sitting judge could also accept a plea from Anas’ lawyers to hold those cross examination sessions in camera, without exposing Anas.
