Ghanaians mimic Anas to show solidarity

With few hours to the premiere of the much anticipated judicial scandal video, some Ghanaians have shown their support for Anas Aremeyaw Anas, the brain behind the said uncover piece or investigation.

Some thirty-four judges were captured on video allegedly negotiating with agents including court clerks and police prosecutors to free suspects in robbery and murder cases.

One of the indicted judges, Justice Paul Uuter Dery filed a suit to stop the premiering of the video at the Accra International Conference Centre. The suit was against the Director of Estates and General Services at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chief Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Manager of the Accra International Conference Centre and the Attorney General.

However, all looks set for the public screening as the application for interlocutory injunction on it has been withdrawn.

The always disguised ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, seem to have the backing of some Ghanaians who are imitating his disguised appearance by dressing up in the in caps and facial veil. Some have taken it further by using a kitchen saucepan for the cap and a sponge for the veil.
