Ghanaians must forgive Razak Brimah – Avram Grant

The Israeli says Razak Brimah should be forgiven because he has shown remorse.

The former Chelsea boss has called on all Ghanaians to forget about the misbehavior of the goalkeeper, and rather show support to the Black Stars as they take on Cameroon in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations later on Thursday.

Razak Brimah made the headlines for all the wrong reasons after targeting unsavory words at his critics.

The Cordoba shot-stopper posted a video on Facebook saying Ghanaians “talk too much” and that they should “f**k go to hell”.

His comments seemed to have sparked a major uproar in the West African country, with many calling for his expulsion from the camp of the national team.

However, his coach has come to his defense.

Avram Grant insists Brimah “has shown remorse” and Ghanaians “have to forgive him”.

The former Portsmouth gaffer added that “the most important thing is to support the team” as they bid for a first Africa Cup of Nations trophy since 1982.

Ghana will face Cameroon for a place in Sunday’s final against Egypt - who defeated Burkina Faso on Wednesday.

But it remains to be seen if Grant will drop the under fire goalkeeper for the crucial semi-final clash.
