Black Stars goalie Razak Brimah drew the ire of many Ghanaians after he posted a video on his Facebook page telling his Ghanaian critics to “f**k go to hell”.

The Cordoba goalkeeper has since rendered an unqualified apology to the public, and the Ghana Football Association has also fined him GH₵ 2,500, however many have called for his expulsion from the national team camp.

Foh-Amoaning shares the same view and insists Brimah must be dropped for Ghana’s match against Cameroon on Thursday.

“I believe that as an immediate measure, Razak Brimah must be dropped in our game against Cameroon,” the ace football administrator told Happy FM.

“[He should be dropped] so that at least Ghanaians will feel that some kind of punishment has been meted out to him for insulting them. After the tournament, a more punitive measure could be taken against him.”

Razak Brimah has been the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper for Ghana in the last three years, and has manned the post for the Black Stars in all their matches so far in the Africa Cup of Nations.

However, it remains to be seen if Avram Grant will maintain the 29-year-old in post against Cameroon come Thursday.
