Ghanaians call for expulsion of Razak Brimah from Black Stars camp

The Black Stars goalie has made the headlines for all the wrong reasons after his distasteful outbursts on social media.

The Cordoba shot-stopper posted a video saying Ghanaians“talk too much” and that they should “f**k go to hell” after he was criticized for failing to organized his wall properly in the lead up to Ghana’s loss to Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations.

And although he later rendered an unqualified apology for his unfortunate rants, his earlier comments seem to have invited the rage of many Ghanaians, who have wasted no time in responding to the Black Stars No. 1.

A section of the public actually wants him expelled from the camp of the Black Stars.

One fan fumed: “…We have a lot of goalkeepers who are far better than Brimah, and so if he doesn’t want to respect us then he has no reason to be in the national team.”

Another fan added that “Brimah should be suspended from the national team because if we could do it to Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng, then we must suspend Braimah too.”

Brimah is currently the first choice of Black Stars coach Avram Grant; however the growing pressure from fans could force the Israeli into taking a drastic decision on his keeper.

Most fans who spoke to Pulse Sports labeled Brimah’s comments as “unpardonable” while others said it was totally ”unforgiveable”.
