The mother of Black Stars goalkeeper has apologised for her son's unguarded remarks about his critics

The 29-year-old goalkeeper has been in the news since Monday for the wrong reason, after he insulted his Ghanaian critics in an audio tape via Facebook.

Razak Brimah showed remorse for his uncalled for behaviour, but his mother has followed it up with another apology to give it give much volumes.

"I am the mother of Razak. I beg you for his comments. He is not like that, so I beg you to forgive him," she said this in an audio

Ghanaians have been critical of the performance of Razak Brimah, since he failed to organise his defence well in the Black Stars 0-1 defeat against Egypt.

He has kept the post in all the four games played by the Black Stars in the AFCON 2017 and Avram Grant is likely to stick to him to ensure consistency despite calls from Ghanaians to axe him from the squad for using foul language.
