Parliament has approved 17 ministers-designate nominated by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Speaker of Parliament, Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye, said the House approved the deputy ministers by consensus "in accordance with Article 79(1) of the Constitution."
