Parliament has approved 4 ministers of state and 7 deputy ministers to be sworn in by the president.

They include Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, Minister of State designate, the Office of the President, Public Procurement; Bryan Acheampong, Minister of State designate, Office of the president; Professor Kwesi Yankah, Minister of State designate at the Ministry of Education; Dr Nurah Gyeile, Minister of State Designate at the Ministry of Agriculture.
The rest are Henry Quartey, Deputy Minister designate for Interior, Kwaku Kwartey, Deputy Minister designate for Finance; Abena Osei Asare, Deputy Minister designate for Finance; Charles Adu Boahen, Deputy Minister designate for Finance; Joseph Cudjeo, Deputy Minister for Energy, Dr Mohammmed Amin Adam, Deputy Minister for Energy and William Owereku Aidoo, Deputy Minister designate for Energy.
Reading out the report of the appointments committee, chairman of the committee, Joe Osei Owusu said the approved nominees were without blemish or criminal records.
In seconding the motion for the approval of the vetted minister-designates, the Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu said Bryan Acheampong demonstrated knowledge of IT, adding that he can be used in the delivery of a "paperless society" in the public sector.

He said professor Yankah was impressive although he disagrees with his politics, urging him to bring his expertise from the private sector to help the Akufo-Addo administration.
He said Nurah Gyeile, Minister of State Designate for Agriculture was impressive and that Kweku Kwarteng "was good with his economics."
