Meek Mill held a question-and-answer session on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, and he used the hashtag #askmeek to engage with his fans around the world.
During the session, several Ghanaians asked Meek Mill when he would be coming back into the country and whether he would be coming for Detty December.
In response, the Expensive Pain crooner tweeted that he would be returning for the second time. He wrote: "I’m coming back to Ghana too #askmeek."
However, making this revelation, a fan prompted the rapper, who is also in love with bikes, to check out some trap musicians in the country because there are a whole lot doing great out there.
Upon seeing the message, Meek Mill said he'll definitely sign one when he comes to Ghana next time. Meanwhile, people shouldn't forget the promise.
In January 2023, Meek Mill spent time in the country performing at the ‘Afro Nation’ concert and shot a music video at the seat of the presidency, a situation that stirred massive reactions online.
Mill, at the time, shared a snippet of the said visual on his Instagram and Twitter accounts, but shortly afterward deleted it due to the intensity of the backlash that ensued.
The rapper was slammed for what was termed as desecration of the presidency, as many people found the decision to film at the premises to be disrespectful.
