The award scheme, known as the Global Blueprint Excellence Award, a brainchild of one Kwame Owusu Fordjour, popularly known as Dr. UN, eventually turned out to be a scam.

Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime's Celeb Biz Saturday, the "Enjoyment Minister" expressed his feelings about the incident, describing it as "incredibly stupid."

“I haven’t had drama in the first 11 years of my career. It was always the music, but these two happened back-to-back, and the Dr. UN one was incredibly stupid. I can’t believe I fell for that nonsense. If you saw the email, you would have fallen for it. Very well written,” he said.

D-Black laughed at himself as he reflected on his initial excitement. As a passionate musician, the idea of receiving recognition for his hard work may have been too enticing to resist.

The CEO of Black Avenue revealed that he had considered bringing his mother to the award ceremony but ultimately decided to attend with his team members.

Despite the setbacks, D-Black remains unfazed and believes that these incidents are minor hurdles that won't derail his plans.
