The late Fennec Okyere who was the manager of Kwaw Kese was killed at his Manet Gardens residence on the Spintex Road, Accra on Thursday, March 13, 2015 by unknown assailants.
He died at age 31 and was laid to rest after a funeral service at the forecourt of the Trade Fair Centre, LA-Accra on Saturday, April 26.
The fante rapper, who is unhappy about the way the police has so far handled the case, wishes that Anas would assist in finding the killers of his manager.
“I suggest Anas must step up to do the investigation and who knows, something will come up,” he said in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.
Anas' investigative pieces over the years have captured on video how some security agencies aided people to smuggle cocoa outside the borders of the country, how inmates at the orphanage in Bawjiase were maltreated and the home being turned into a business venture by its founder; bad management practices, food theft, drugs trafficking and drugs sales from the Accra Psychiatric Hospital among others.
