Former Deputy Minority Leader, Ambrose Dery has won the Nandom constituency seat.

According to provisional results in the area, Dery won the seat after losing to Benjamin Kumbuor in the 2012 elections.

Nandom is one of the newly created constituencies by the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The area was calved out of the previous Lawra-Nandom constituency in 2012.
Surprisingly, Mr. Derry won the Lawra-Nandom constituency in 2008, beating his friend Kumbour in that polls years back.
