The two students sustained cutlass wounds in the head and were rushed to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
The victims were first sent to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital, where they were referred for emergent attention at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
The perpetrators of the attack are yet to be identified. However, the Chair of the Parents Teachers Association for the school, Mr. Barima Twum, says he suspects some violent group in the Apowa community [host community of the school] to be the assailants.
