Students of the school have been on a collision course with teachers, having accused the Senior Housemaster of ill-treatment.
The chaos is said to have started after the Senior Housemaster confronted a student for wearing an unprescribed attire during evening preps.
Unhappy with this move, the students went on rampage last Sunday and vandalised some school properties.
The latest development is that the protesting students have sold the school’s gate to a scrap dealer for a bargain.
Ghanaweb reports that they dislodged the metal gate and deposited it with a scrap dealer in protest.
“They are technical guys so they knew how to take off the gate. They even attempted removing another gate but they couldn’t because it was cast in the concrete slab,” an angry KTI teacher is quoted as saying.
Reports suggest the students even pelted the principal and other teachers during a confrontation.
This comes after 10 KTI students were picked up by the police for their alleged involvement in the campus protests.
