Pooley was stabbed to death by an unidentified person during Asante Kotoko’s match against Nsoatreman on February, 2, 2025, at the Nana Konamansah Park in Nsoatre.
After multiple arrests and court proceedings, Braima was identified as the prime suspect. He has since been on the run after the unfortunate incident happened last month.
Prime suspect's family reaction
Meanwhile, Braima's family has stated their commitment to helping the police capture him.
His brother told told Sunyani-based Ark FM that Braima has to face the consequences of his actions if indeed he committed the crime.
The family is saying if he has done it, he has to face the consequences. So, the family is not supporting him in running away. No. We are all searching, helping, and looking everywhere to locate him so that he can explain his reasons for doing this. If he did it, then he must come forward and tell the whole world why. We are hearing different things in Nsoatre, and many people thought I was the one the Ghana Police arrested.
