The Black Stars player, who played the full match, delivered a superb goal but couldn’t prevent the Foxes from falling to a strong Liverpool comeback.

Reflecting on his performance, Ayew shared his excitement about scoring and the best the entire team gave on the night despite falling at Anfield.

It’s always nice to score, especially at Anfield. It doesn’t happen all the time, but for me, the most important thing was to help the team. We gave it our best and can hold our heads high knowing we gave our all.

The former Crystal Palace star remained optimistic about Leicester City's progress, emphasising the importance of resilience throughout the season.
