Sam Arday has been offered a special duty in the Black Stars technical team by the Ghana Football Association as the team seek to end their 35 years without a major silverware.
According to Graphic Sports, the Ghana Football Association after a meeting with the head coach of the Black Stars, Avram Grant has contracted the veteran coach, Sam Arday to work as technical adviser in Gabon 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
He will serve as an adviser between the team and the management committee of the Black Stars.
Arday was the first indigenous coach to win a world title for Ghana in 1995 at the U-17 level and has had several stints with the Black Stars-the last one was 2004.
