Four prime suspects arrested in connection with the murder of a military officer have been sent to the Central Regional Police Headquarters in Cape Coast.
Captain Maxwell Mahama met his untimely death when some residents of Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region lynched him.

The suspects were arrested by the police and sent to the Regional headquarters for further interrogation.
A fifth suspect who sustained bullet wounds during a struggle with the lynched Captain Maxwell Mahama is also at the hospital.
The Central Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Irene Oppong, speaking to the media said "security situation is under control after a meeting with the District Security Council (DISEC) this morning."

Investigations are continuing as the police look to build a case to unravel the murder of the Captain.
