Suspects charged with murder

An Accra District Court has remanded the two alleged killers of the Abuakwa North MP  J.B Danquah-Adu into police custody.

The two suspects have been remanded after they were discharged by an Accra High Court on May 30, 2017.

The prosecutor, DSP George Amega, told the court the police have fresh evidence against the suspects hence their re-arrest and return to court.

The two suspects, Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bossu, are standing trial for allegedly killing the Abuakwa North MP at his residence at Shiashie on February 9, 2016.

They have been charged with abetment of crime and murder.

They have both pleaded not guilty.
