This jiggly lipoma pop sure brings Shakira levels of "La Tortura." In a new Instagram video , Dr. Pimple Popper aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD removes a huge, torturous lipoma stuck to a patient's back. While Dr. Lee compares the wiggling lipoma pop to Shakira and Jennifer Lopez's Super Bowl halftime performance, fans are saying the lipoma looks like a gigantic organ. Either way, watching its removal is sickly satisfying torture.
In the clip, Dr. Lee makes a very large incision across the length of the lipoma, working her fingers beneath the skin to pop out the growth. When she succeeds, a fatty mass emerges that is truly giganticand jiggly.
"Practicing my Shakira and J.Lo-inspired wiggle on this lipoma," the famed derm wrote in the video's caption, which was posted the day after the Super Bowl. But fans certainly had their own opinions on the growth beyond its wiggle and jiggle.
"OMG, that thing needs its own zip code," one fan commented on the video. Another fan added, "How does that happen? It looks like an entire organ."
The cause of lipomas isnt entirely understood, but the growths tend to run in families, so genetics likely play a factor. Lipomas are fatty masses situated between the skin and muscle. They are noncancerous and usually harmless, and are usually soft and doughy to the touch.
