The man was allegedly taking photos of McGregor outside the Fontainebleu Miami Beach Hotel; McGregor reportedly took the mans phone and smashed it, resulting in his arrest with the felony charges of strong-arm robbery and criminal mischief. He was booked into the Turner Guildford Knight Correctional Center in Miami with bonds totaling $12,500.
The official arrest report stated: The victim and the defendant were exiting the Fountainebleu hotel and the victim attempted to take a picture of the defendant with his cell phone. The defendant slapped the victims phone out of his hand, causing it to fall to the floor. The defendant then stomped on the victims phone several times, damaging it. The defendant then picked up the victims phone and walked away with it, depriving him of it. Victim stated that the phone was valued at $1,000. The defendant was located and arrested.

This wasnt his first brush with the law. Last year, New York City police issued a warrant for McGregors arrest after he threw a metal dolly through the window of a bus carrying several other UFC fighters , during promotional appearances for UFC 223. He pled guilty to disorderly conduct charges and agreed to a sentence of community service and anger management. (He post a half-hearted apology after that ordeal, too.)
Early this morning Conor McGregor was involved in a minor altercation involving a cell phone that resulted in a call to law enforcement, said a spokesman for McGregors attorney, in a statement to MMA Junkie . Mr McGregor appreciates the response of law enforcement and pledges his full cooperation.
