Over the weekend, the Bole Festival gathered food enthusiasts in search of fun and a full stomach from all over the country to celebrate Bole. Bole is a street food made up of roasted plantain, spicy pepper sauce and fish.

The Bole Festival is an annual food fair aimed at promoting and showcasing rich and unique preparations of roasted indigenous delicacies. This second edition held at the Dr. Obi Wali International Convention Centre in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. The fair had about 6000 food lovers from all around the world to come appreciate and buy food at very subsidised rates.

In addition to Bole stands, there were other food exhibitions, music and comedy, food competitions, fun and games. There were also spaces to sit, eat and be merry.
