The Ghanaian musician who was in Lagos appeared on Nigeria’s Beat 99.9 FM and the radio presenter put it to him that Ghanaian acts display hostile attitudes towards Nigerian musicians whenever they visit Ghana.
“in terms of your people, it seems they don’t like Nigerians coming through. I heard about one or two issues that happened with the Cardi B show as well recently… I heard somethings that were not good, and if you behave like that with Afronation, no one is going to come back to GHANA with a show” the Nigerian presenter, Olisa Adibua, said.

During the conversation, Joey B, who was with Ghanaian music producer, Guilty Beatz, couldn’t outspokenly say anything about the comments which put Ghanaian acts in a bad light and that has left Ghanaians on social media upset. Fans, including Yvonne Nelson and Medikal believe that he could have said something to defend his colleague musicians.
This has sparked a conversation on Twitter which has seen Joey B picking a trending spot on the micro-blogging platform. However, a few others commend the “Tonga” hitmaker for his composure during the interview.
