Level 400 legon student dies a week to final exams

A final year agric student of the university of Ghana has died after battling an illness.

A 22-year-old level 400 student of the University of Ghana has died while seeking medical attention at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital.

She passed on yesterday April 26, 2017.

Vida Akrong was an agric student and a member of the Dr. Hilla Liman Hall.

A friend of the deceased who spoke to Pulse News said

" She was admitted for some time and discharged. Later on she was coughing severely and sent to korlebu. She was there for days and God called her home at around 10:40 am"

The deceased reportedly celebrated her 22  birthday in March 2017. The body has since been deposited at the mortuary.

Vida is a former student of the Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School in the Central region.
