According to a former hiplife artiste, Yaw Siki, he is in no good position to pass judgement on Ghanaian highlife–artiste-turned–pastor, Ofori Amponsah’s decision to return to highlife.
The comeback of Head Pastor of the Holy Ground Sanctuary to highlife stunned some industry watchers. hinted that he will sing highlife and still perform his duties as a pastor.
His manager, Franklyn Wiafe Agyekum stated that the artiste cum pastor will not be singing secular songs; rather love songs to heal the broken-hearted.

“He is back to highlife to continue doing those love songs he used to sing and even do it better. He is back to sing love songs to heal the broken-hearted. There are so many broken-hearted in the house.”
Some people have questioned how he could be a pastor and still sing the songs he used to when he was not into ministry.
But Yaw Siki who made a resolution to stop writing secular music after he was involved in a near fatal accident on April 15, 2013 on the Tema-Motorway road has said that Ofori Amponsah should not be judged.
“When Jesus calls us, He gives everybody a job. I am mandated to preach the second coming of Jesus Christ; I don’t know what he has been given to do. But if that is what the Lord says he should do, then who am I to judges and say anything about it? What I will conclude with it that, when we are called, we are given a certain job to do. That’s what we should stick to,” he told Abrantepa on Radio Univers’ mid-morning show, on Monday.

Yaw Siki however said he has no intentions of coming back to secular music because he has taken a decision to leave the world behind. He is out with a new single, - to wit, I will follow you [God].
