Hiplife artiste, Okyeame Kwame has revealed that his haircut serves as a source of motivation for him.

He disclosed this in an interview with Abrantepa on Radio Univers’ mid-morning show,

Okyeame Kwame indicated that he derives his motivation to forge ahead in life from his ‘see-saw’ haircut.

“My hairstyle is called ‘see-saw’. When I wake up in the morning, I look at two things: at the surface level, I check if I still find myself handsome which I don’t give much attention to. But on the spiritual level, I check if I’m still the same person I’ve promised myself, God and my loved ones. At that level, obviously, I will not see that because God didn’t make it like that. What do I need to do then? When I look at the haircut, it reminds me that I’m down here [points the lower part of his haircut]. So I need to climb and you know it is difficult to climb,” he said.

“There are challenges in life. And as I am going up, I’ll face obstacles and that is the line in my hairstyle. I need to jump be it valley, river or gutter. So my whole haircut is my struggle that whenever I look at in the morning, I inspire myself through it. I tell people so that if they don’t find it silly, they can be inspired,” the ‘rap doctor’ added.

Okyeame Kwame is out with a new single which is on his album. The song features Lynx Entertainment's act MzVee.

Small Small, a track produced by Appietus is a fusion of Afrobeats, jazz, French pop and a bit of trap sounds. It was recorded live by the Patch Bay Band.
