Ghana move up in latest FIFA ranking

Ghana have moved up in the latest Federation of International Football Association [FIFA] world ranking released on Thursday, February 9, 2017.

The four times champions of Africa leapfrogged from 54th position to 45th, after they won three and lost three in the just ended 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon.

Meanwhile, Senegal maintained the top spot in Africa, with 31st position in the world ranking and Cameroon the African champions finished second, following a sensation display in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon.

And Ghana have again appreciated by two places on the African continent, moving from 9th to 7th.

Argentina, Brazil and Germany are the top three countries in the world on the latest FIFA ranking.
