Galaxy Note 6 rumored to have a retina scanner
According to a Dutch site, Samsung has indeed added an "iris cam" to its research and development department in India to work on its implementation in its mobile devices.
And little by little, details are emerging.
We learnt that the unit will use the same IP68 certification that the Galaxy S7 utilizes. In other words, the PHABLET can withstand immersed in water for over half an hour in 1½m water. It would also be extremely well protected from dust.
Other rumors claim that the Galaxy Note 6 could be equipped with a retinal scanner.
According to a Dutch site, Samsung has indeed added an "iris cam" to its research and development department in India to work on its implementation in its mobile devices.
If this is going to be included in the next PHABLET, the South Korean manufacturer has not confirmed, but many Samsung admirers hope that the new phone could be fitted with this technology.
The PHABLET would have a 5.8 inch screen and run on Android N.
It would board an Exynos or Snapdragon processor along with 6GB of RAM, offer 64 or 128 GB of storage space and a camera with 12MP at the rear of the device.
