The introduction of a multi window mode in Android N
This was not on Android, although the option is especially useful (and provided by some manufacturers interfaces).
The multi-window mode, compatible with smartphones and tablets, is going to make his first appearance in Android N. It may be used in portrait mode as well as landscape and on a developers side, it will be possible to impose a minimum size given in the title.
For TVs under Android TV, a system of picture-in-picture will be offered to developers.
Improved notifications on Android N
As expected, the notifications will enrich practical functionality. Android N incorporates responses directly into the notification bar, relying on an API originally scheduled for Android Wear.
Also as part of the notifications, grouped notifications from a single application (the example of message type), can be extended via a swipe gesture with two fingers or a click on the button expansion of notifications that will be integrated.
Doze mode, Slender project and Java 8 and more for Android N
Google promises to improve the energy-saving mode with introduced in Android Marshmallow by activating Doze mode not only when the phone is idle, but when the screen is off. We can expect real improvements in terms of autonomy.
This is not all, since Google has been working on the memory demanded by applications to work within the framework of its project Slender. The idea is to reduce the need massive memory by apps, so that they run on as many devices as possible...even if the Android One program seems paused.
