The Ghana Football Association has created a new role for Stephen Appiah within the technical team of the Black Stars.
The announcement of Stephen Appiah as the Technical Coordinator was made during the unveiling of James Kwesi Appiah as the Black Stars coach at the GFA Secretariat on Tuesday.

Stephen Appiah was the skipper of the Black Stars from 2002 to 2010, between which he qualified the Black Stars for the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups
