Ex-GFA boss loses National Council of State elections

Nana Brew Butler, a former chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) missed out on the chance to join the National Council of State

Butler was beaten by a 56-year-old chief, Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II, who secured 11 votes to win the regional council of state election. The winner contested with five other contestants, including Nana Brew Butler.

The former GFA chairman is on the council of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and also the board chairman of Ghana Premier League side, Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs.
