Ghana's Sean Safo-Antwi wins gold at the International Grand Prix
Ghanaian athlete Sean Safo-Antwi beat off competition from Giffens Ramon of Barbados and co to win gold in the AIT International Athletics Grand Prix on Wednesday.

The race took place at the AIT International Arena in Athlone, County Westmeath.
Safo-Antwi set a season-record in the men’s indoor 60m. The Ghanaian recorded a time of 6.56 seconds as he won the final event.
Giffens Ramon from Barbados came in second position with Cherry D'Angelo of the USA following her in third. Bockarie Solomon of Netherlands, Aikenes-Aryeetey Harry of the Great Britain, Swaray Josh of Senegal, Codrington Giovanni of Netherlands and Dimitrov Denis of Bulgaria followed Cherry in that sequence.
The indoor event which ended on Tuesday, February 15, 2017, featured athletes from around the world. The AIT International Athletics Grand Prix had several disciplines competing for various accolades.
