Nana Addo calls on First lady to scold him less

According to Nana Addo, his Rebecca's conduct has never been out of disrespect for him but done in his own interest.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has revealed that his wife and First Lady, Rebecca Akufo Addo does not cease to criticize him.

According to him, his Rebecca's conduct has never been out of disrespect for him but done in his own interest.

Speaking at a Thanksgiving service organized by the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional council, he said, "Some of the prayers should also go to my beautiful lady, Rebecca, whom the people of Osu have given to me as a wife. She scolds me too much. I know she wants the best for me but pray to God to make her relax a bit," he said.

Nana Addo also called for prayers for God’s direction for his vice, Alhaji Dr Mahamadu Bawumia who’ll assist him govern the country.

"We have come for blessings and also ask all of you to pray for me for wisdom, confidence, and a good heart to be a great president for Ghana. Don’t forget Mahamudu Bawumia, too, in your prayers. There is a huge task ahead, so Ghanaians should pray for us.

"We saw Samira during the campaign, she was very vocal. I think she was the one whose speech worried John Mahama the most. God should protect and guide her so that she can help Bawumia," he added.
