Social media reacts to Akufo-Addo's 110 'army' of ministers

Ghanaians on social media have not taken kindly to the explanations of government officials with some questioning if this was ‘the change’ the government promised while in opposition.

The full list of the ministers was presented on Wednesday March 15 and spokespeople for the government and the ruling party have had the arduous task of justifying this number of the ministers on various media platforms.

Ghanaians on social media have not taken kindly to their explanations with some questioning if this was ‘the change’ the new government promised while in opposition.

The Minister of Information, Mustapha Hamid has said in interviews that the government did not promise a lean government during the campaign but an efficient one. According to him, the problems of the country meant that there was the need for a strong and ‘competent army’.
