The New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region has suspended the party Chairman of Kumawu constituency Joseph Danso.
This was after the party’s regional Disciplinary Committee asked him to apologise for threatening President Nana Akufo-Addo over the nomination of a District Chief Executive (DCE).

Joseph Danso failed to apologise when he appeared before the committee chaired by Dr Amoako Tuffuor.

But according to starrfmonline.com Mr. Danso apologised to President Nana Akufo-Addo privately.
Meanwhile a planned demonstration by the Kumawu NPP members have been foiled by the regional executives.
