The group in a statement signed by its president Fred Appiah called for sanctions against the party chairman, who is said to have dared the President to nominate the Presiding Member of the local assembly, Mr. Samuel Addai Agyekum, as the District Chief Executive (DCE) as was being speculated.

Mr. Joseph Danso is also on record to have said the Presiding Member was not involved in the campaign of the NPP daring Nana Addo amid threats, to nominate any person for the post of DCE for the Sekyere Kumawu district without his consent.

According to Joseph Danso, the President will incur his wrath should he appoint any candidate other than the one that he and the constituency will approve.

But the National Youth Ambassadors believes the behaviour of Mr Joseph Danso is a threat of organising demonstrators against the choice of the President to be the Kumawu DCE and that will create unnecessary political tension and total chaos in Kumawu.

The group added that it "is not only insulting but also an affront to the integrity of the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. We are, therefore, calling on the disciplinary committee of the party to bring the constituency chairman to book for his insolence and lack of respect for authority."
