Election 2016 Amissah-Arthur is not Bawumia’s co-equal in economics – Karbo

Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur should not compare himself with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on economy matters.

This is according to a Deputy Communications Director of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Anthony Abayifa Karbo.

He argued that Amissah Arthur can compare himself to other NPP economists but Dr Bawumia.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Ultimate FM he said “what Dr Bawumia  and NPP said during the public lecture is the truth, we are not throwing dust in the eyes of the public, we didn’t peddle any falsehood. If Amissah Arthur has something to say, he should come out with it, the NDC should desist from comparing Amissah Arthur with Dr.Bawumia. There is no way we can compare these two, there is no way kraa, because Amissah Arthur is not close to Dr.Bawumia, Amissah Arthur could be at par  with Kwaku Kwarteng, Dr.Akoto Osei and the rest, but Dr. Bawumia is out.”

Karbo argued that Dr.Bawumia’s IQ is way above that of the Vice president.

Kwesi Amissah-Arthur last week said the NDC will teach Dr Bawumia economics. This was in response to the lecture on the economy organised by the Danquah Institute.

Amissah-Arthur said “we shall correct him and teach him the things that he doesn’t know which he thinks he knows.”
