He said the party will lose if the grassroot that worked tirelessly to secure win for the party are neglected.
His comments follow concerns raised by some members of the communication team of the NPP in the region that only a handful of persons who hail from the NPP’s stronghold have been given appointments in the government of Nana Akufo-Addo.
One Kwadwo Bamba, 37, an auto mechanic led a group of men from the NPP’s Delta Force on Friday, March 24 stormed the office of the recently appointed Ashanti regional security coordinator to stop him from performing his functions.

However, he has threatened to protest against the party and the government if someone dares touch any member of the party's vigilante groups.
He said the vigilante groups defended the party when the Police and the government were against the NPP when they were in opposition.
These occurrences within the rank and file of the party Kennedy Agyapong said are enough reasons to cause the grassroot to vote against the party.
"These and other happenings which the grassroot of the party are unhappy about if allowed to continue even for one year would herald the party’s exodus back into opposition in the 2020 elections," he warned.
