Court sets July 26 for judgement on Afoko, NPP battle

The presiding judge Mr Anthony Yeboah adjourned the case after the last witness for the NPP, Peter Mac Manu, was cross-examined by Afoko's lawyer last Friday.

Mac Manu was the second NPP witness to be cross-examined in the case. Rev. Samuel Asante-Yeboah, the party's Disciplinary Committee Chairman was the first to be cross-examined.

Afoko is challenging his suspension from the NPP in 2015  in court.

He headed to court last year after the National Council of the NPP upheld the decision of the party's disciplinary committee of the party to suspend him.

The party's General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong, and Sammy Crabbe, first vice chair, were also suspended.

Crabbe contested his suspension in court but his case was dismissed.
