Kwabena Agyepong leaves Afoko hanging in court

No reason was given for Kwabena Agyepong's withdrawal as a witness in the case where Paul Afoko is contesting his suspension as Chairman of the party

Suspended General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party Kwabena Agyepong will no longer be a witness in the Paul Afoko vrs  the NPP court case.

This was after Paul Afoko's lawyers withdrew Agyepong as a witness in their clients case without giving any reason.

Kwabena Agyepong was expected to testify today to back claims by  Afoko that he was wrongfully suspended from the party.

The development brought to an end the case of  the  plaintiffs paving way for the NPP to open their defence.

Paul Afoko, headed to court last year after the National Council of the NPP upheld the decision of  the party's disciplinary committee of the party to suspend him.

Kwabena Agyepong and Sammy Crabbe who is  first vice chairman were also suspended.

Sammy Crabbe also challenged his suspension in court but his case was dismissed. He has however decided to appeal the courts decision.
