35 workers at TV3 sacked

It is not clear if the said workers were wearing red to demand for better welfare conditions.

But a source at the station has told Pulse.com.ghthat “There was a union negotiations ongoing and it broke down somewhere. So the union members said they were giving warning signals. And so they [management] gave them a letter last week to explain why a disciplinary action should not be taken against them for wearing a red dress or red band.”

As at the time of filing this story, there was heavy police presence at the station to escort the sacked workers out of the company.
