The people of Kokoa woke up to trembling news on Saturday, February 25, after it emerged that a 57-year old man had killed his wife for refusing him sex.
The cold incident which took place in the Jaman North District of the Brong-Ahafo Region is reported to have happened after a drunken man identified as Kwasi Boateng wanted to have sex with his wife but she refused accusing him of drinking.
Boateng feeling angered after his wife shunned him pulled a gun and shot his wife in the head who died instantly.

The husband sensing danger also shot himself in the stomach and died instantly.

The Sampa Police have thus begun investigations into the incident.
Meanwhile the bodies of the two have been deposited at the Samoa Government Hospital Morgue pending autopsy.
