Police have said that one of the judges implicated in the Anas Aremeyaw Anas judicial bribery scandal is responsible for the kidnap of a member of the Tiger Eye team.
Ishmael Hussein was rescued after the news of his kidnapped got to the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Alhassan.

Hussein is currently in the custody of the Tamale Regional Police Command.
The Police were able to arrest one of the kidnappers but his counterparts are on the run.
According to ASP Tetteh, he will not reveal the identity of the assailant nor the judge who sent the assailant to kidnap the investigator, but said that "this person was connected to the crime we are investigating now. He was the one who first kidnapped and called one other person whose name I will also not mention.
"They kidnapped him for leading the team to take shots of one of the persons who was implicated. They were not happy that he did that.
"Whilst he was in their custody unlawfully they issued threatening messages and told him several things which I will also not reveal.
He added they are still investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, the judge in question is not part of those being investigated by the committee constituted by the Chief Justice, myjoyonline.com has reported.
Hussein was one of the undercover investigators who revealed the corruption in the country’s judicial system.
Over 30 Judges from the high and lower courts, over 100 court clerks, State Attorneys and personnel from the Police Service were captured on camera taking bribes to subvert the course of justice.
So far, seven Judges have been suspended.
