TEWU Gen. Secretary found dead in hotel room

“The plan was to leave Saturday morning, but we called him so many times, we even called his phone but he will not answer”, one of the executives told reporters in Kumasi.

The incident occurred after the union’s congress on Thursday, when the deceased stayed behind to sort out some bills and other administrative issues to leave on Saturday.

However, he didn’t not answer to calls from other members of the executive committee who had stayed behind as well. “The plan was to leave Saturday morning, but we called him so many times, we even called his phone but he will not answer”, one of the executives told reporters in Kumasi.

After making frantic calls which all went unanswered, the executive informed the managers of the hotel, who then cut the net of the window to the room Mr. Apaaya was occupying, in order to see what was wrong, only to see him lying awkwardly at the edge of his bed.
