The President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), James Asare-Adjei, has urged local businesses to considered working together so as to make the needed impact.
Partnerships, joint venture and mergers will enhance their technical capacity building, he said.

In addition, Asare-Adjei said they would help local businesses to remain competitive and profitable, and help them compete on the global stage.
“We must work together as local businesses such that it will not be small businesses doing their own thing," he said in an interview with Citi FM. "In the end, we don’t have that needed impact but then we would be able to come together in partnerships, in joint ventures and create a bigger platform so that our impact will be felt.”

Asare-Adjei added: “We are looking at being able to even take advantage in terms of partnerships and the strategic growth direction. So we think that we should try and focus attention and try and help businesses to focus on other areas of capacity building."
