The late top Ghana cyclist Samuel Anim has been buried at the Osu cemetery.
The funeral service which was funded by the National Sports Authority was held at the Accra Sports Stadium, Saturday.
Hitherto, Samuel Anim died tragically on Saturday after being hit by a motorbike while training on the Aburi Mountains.
Anim was having his routine training session ahead of the All Africa Games scheduled for next month in Congo when the accident occurred.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The captain of the Ghana Cycling team was due to represent Ghana at the upcoming African Cycling Championship in South Africa.
He led Team Ghana at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and was the 2014 Cowbell Cycling champion.
