Charles Taylor, former Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko player has attacked Western Regional Football Association Chairman for accusing the government of doing politics with football
Kojo Yankah in an interview, said the government has decided to dissolve the GFA to witch-hunt the majority of the EXCO members who belong to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to former Black Stars the EXCO member as a joker and must not be entertained when it comes to the discussions on Ghana football.
Charles Taylor speaking on Kumasi FM said, defined Kojo Yankah who always jokes with issues
“He only makes jokes with the issues and these are the people who are destroying the local game. Why don’t he stay in Ghana but is living in the USA and is spewing only negative thoughts in Ghana.”
“With what he’s saying, it means footballers need to reveal their political affiliations before earning a call up to the national team and do you think is fair? .”
Charles Taylor further urged the media to stop engaging him on football issues as he has nothing to offer Ghanaians.

“I’m calling on the media to stop interviewing him because such people are only interested in throwing dust into the eyes of the masses. They have nothing to offer.”
