The 49-year-old replaces Yussif Abubakar, who parted ways with Aduana Stars despite guiding the club to league glory last season.
Kenichi started the season with Inter Allies, however, he was last week relieved of his duties following a standoff with management.
However, he is set to begin a new chapter with Aduana, who are also competing in the CAF Confederations Cup.
"Kenichi Yatsuhashi is the new head coach of Aduana Stars after a successful meeting on Wednesday in Dormaa Ahenkro," Communication Director of Aduana Stars Evans Oppong told Goal.
"Kenichi was introduced to the technical team and playing body as well as the supporters’ leadership. He began his work afterwards and was in charge of the training this afternoon.”

The Japanese coach’s immediate task will be to lead Fire Club to victory when they face Vita Club in the Confederation Cup next.
Kenichi boasts a rich experience in the Ghanaian game, having also managed local heavyweights Hearts of Oak in the past.
